GATEWAY TO GROWTH: EXPORTING

The National Export Initiative (NEI) just celebrated its second anniversary and President Obama’s goal of doubling exports by the end of 2014 is on track. Exports increased almost 16% last year to $2.1 trillion. Exporting among Asian American businesses in Los Angeles is up more than 20%.

Through the Global Cities Initiative, LA city is the launching pad for a nationwide push for exporting.  This ship is sailing and your business should be on it.

Over a hot breakfast, meet key individuals who will discuss:

  • Government resources designed to assist exporters
  • Export licensing requirements and logistics
  • International markets and how to reach customers globally
  • Products in high demand and how to fill that need
